DAVID BALINT – David was born in Sarasota, Florida moving to Seattle at age 6. A graduate of Rainier Beach High School he graduated from the University of Washington in 1968 with a degree in economics. David then joined the Army for two years which was followed by law school at the University of Washington where he graduated in 1974. The firm is strictly a litigation firm representing persons who have been seriously injured in automobile, motorcycle or other injury situations as well as being harmed by medical or other professional negligence. Part of the practice also involves legal malpractice against lawyers who have harmed their client’s interests. Finally, David does major business litigation. His extension is 111.

KIRSTEN HOFGAARD – Kirsten is a 1993 graduate of Auburn High School. Before joining the firm she attended Green River Community College, has managed businesses and since 2001 has been a Legal Assistant. She recently began taking paralegal classes at Highline Community College. She joined us in January of 2003 and is our secretary and paralegal. Her extension is 106.

KIRSTEN “KISH” UNDERWOOD – Kirsten (Kish) Underwood joined us in June 2003. She earned her B.A. in English from Trinity College in Vermont and went on to graduate school at the University of Massachusetts. She is also a certified massage therapist. She has been our office manager, secretary and receptionist. Her extension is 101.

MARY A. DAVIS – Mary is the firm’s “bookkeeper”. Bookkeeper is in quotes because she is much more than a bookkeeper. She is a Certified Public Accountant having been an auditor with the State of Washington for a number of years. She has been with us since the summer of 2001. She is responsible for all accounts receivable and payable and keeping all of the tax information current. Her extension is 108.
